An Armed Forces veteran, Alex has been a prominent figure in the security industry since 2000. Alex's focus is on the direction of the group of companies, as well as advising major clients.
Alex is an active member of several professional institutes and working groups and holds a range of qualifications, including Close Protection, Event Security Management, Organisational Resilience, Terrorism Awareness, and Risk and Crisis Management.
With extensive experience in the field, Alex has lectured at leading universities, spoken at high-profile events, and provided training for F1 teams, defense contractors, and security professionals worldwide. His knowledge and insights continue to shape discussions in the global security community.

Christian Hill, F.ISMI, F.IAM
Manging Director
Christian rejoined Intelligent Protection in 2022, having previously held an operational role within the company. After a five-year hiatus from the security sector, Christian gained extensive experience in Facilities Management, where he oversaw security, health and safety, risk, and business continuity, significantly expanding his expertise in both operational and strategic management.
As Group Managing Director, Christian is responsible for driving company strategy, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality security services. His broad experience and leadership play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s continued growth and success.

Sophie joined the Intelligent (UK Holdings) Limited group of companies in May 2023, taking on roles as both Non-Executive Director and Legal Advisor.
As our group continues to expand across diverse legal jurisdictions, Sophie plays a key role in minimizing legal exposure. A dedicated and passionate legal professional, she specializes in litigation and provides invaluable guidance in managing the company’s legal affairs.
Fluent in English and conversational in Spanish, Sophie also has a keen interest in travel and fine dining.
Sophie earned her law degree from the University of Liverpool and completed her Master’s in Law at the University of Law, graduating in 2022.
Nick Brown, F.ICAEW
Group Accountant & Company Secretary
Working closely with the team is Nick Brown, our Group accountant and Company Secretary heads up our administration team. Nick has been with the Group since 2004.
Nick is supported by Dawn Wagstaff, and together they implement the fianacial stratergy of the company, as well as carrying out our "Know Your Client" diligence checks and financial compliancy.
Nick is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
